Kabi acquired Fenwal Business, and subsequently, the operations in Puerto Rico. PRIDCO has been fundamental to strategize the type of product and investments Kabi made in the island. The company’s products and services help care for critically and chronically ill patients.

Dedicated to the manufacture and secondary packaging of disposable soft contact lenses, CVC is the largest manufacturing operation of CooperVision, Inc. worldwide and the largest private employer in the southern region of Puerto Rico.

Baxter Healthcare Corp.

Since it arrived in Puerto Rico in 1958, under the name of Travenol, it has contributed greatly to the increase of quality of life indices. They opened their first plant in Carolina on the edge of the metropolitan zone of San Juan. Baxter has become vital to the economy and the quality of life of several towns where it operates, and is the main employer in these communities, with around 4.000 employees distributed along the San Juan area. The manufacture plants are located in Jayuya, Aibonito, and Guayama. They have the Center of Logistic in Cataño and Sales & Marketing in Guaynabo.

Emerging Industries
